The Varsity Girls Basketball team participated in the
Crocus Plains Early Bird Basketball Tournament this past weekend.
The girls were really on their game, placing
first in their Pool with wins against Neepawa (79-41) and Elton (72-55). To advance, the girls had to face the AAAA
team from Vincent Massey where they won 77-63.
Now they faced the home team, Crocus Plains, also a AAAA team, for a
battle for first place. They fought hard,
but came up short at 61-71.
It was a
fantastic weekend of basketball! The
girls were incredibly happy with their performance throughout the weekend!
Congratulations go out to Hannah Kitch and
Sara Henkleman who were named Tournament All Stars. Great job, ladies!
